Denmark exchange.
Rikke Hyldahl Homann teaches in a school in Denmark. She contacted my photography teacher (Mr Nicholls) in October 2012 with the idea of creating an art exchange between us students at Thomas Tallis, and also her school.
It was decided that our class at Tallis would be the Year 10 photography students and that we would begin the exchange by sharing photographs of our younger selves. Everyone would post their pictures online so that their partners in the other school could download them, adapt them in a variety of ways, scan the results and post them back to the internet. |
BEFORE & AFTER,
This is the image i downloaded and printed out for my final design.
I printed out 2 copies so i could reverse the face, I cut one printed paper in strips and stuck them upside down onto the paper.
I chosen this image because its quite simple and its a very face straight simple photo to mess around with. With the colour of the image (i would say it was a spia effect) it doesn't give it the touch of different colours and doesn't make it clear enough, where's if this image was its natural colour it would be a bit more understand and clear to see what i've messed around with.
